Bags
Posted in The Long Rode on August 1st, 2010 by WadeNot much new today. What we did do is bring the saddle bags to the house, wash them and put them on the bike. I also went through the miscellaneous bag of parts. In there I found a carb rebuild kit. I also found what look like two different mix needles. Hopefully one of them will replace the missing needle on the carb.
Another curious thing I found today is that the bags look like there not for the 68. There fiberglass hard bags and the sculpted shape of the inside surface does not match the contours of the bike. On the lids of the bags there looks to be about eight repaired holes. These holes look like they might be suitable for rails. Kind of makes you go hmmm.
